Position Purpose
St. Joseph of the Pines, a Trinity Health Senior Community, is seeking a strategic, mission-driven, and innovative Vice President to lead a life plan community and provide executive leadership and operational oversight for all senior services across our continuum of care. The Vice President will ensure exceptional quality, financial performance, operational efficiency, and a client-centered approach while aligning with Trinity Health's mission, values, and strategic growth goals.
What You Will Do
As the Vice President of St. Joseph of the Pines, you will:
Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing, culturally diverse leadership team that aligns with our faith-based mission and values.
Oversee all aspects of operations, including resident care, clinical quality, service delivery, compliance, financial management, human resources, and strategic planning.
Drive sustainability and innovation through the implementation of Trinity Health’s approved strategic initiatives.
Ensure excellence in resident satisfaction, health outcomes, and colleague engagement.
Collaborate with Trinity Health Senior Communities (THSC) home office leaders to integrate systems, centralize transactional functions, and drive operational efficiency.
Foster transparent communication with the local Board, Trinity Health leadership, and community stakeholders.
Serve as a compelling spokesperson and ambassador for the mission, vision, and values of Trinity Health.
Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements while consistently promoting a culture of accountability, service excellence, and integrity.
Minimum Requirements & Skills
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business, or a related field—or equivalent progressive executive experience in high-performing hospitality or healthcare organizations.
Minimum of 7 - 10 years of management experience, including oversight of multiple sites.
Demonstrated success leading start-ups, turnarounds, or repositioning of customer-oriented service lines. Background in marketing and customer relationship sales strongly preferred.
Leadership & Collaboration:
Proven ability to operate effectively in a collaborative, shared leadership environment. (Board & staff meetings).
Track record of innovative, values-based leadership with the ability to inspire, motivate, and build strong relationships across diverse constituencies.
