Description
We are seeking an experienced, data-driven leader to oversee our sales and marketing strategies within the security sector. This role will guide a team of account executives and set the direction for sales and marketing efforts based on thorough analysis of market trends and performance data. The VP of Sales & Marketing Strategy will focus on strategy rather than direct selling, making this an ideal position for someone who has a track record in sales leadership but now prefers a strategic, analytical role.
Key Responsibilities
+ Analyze sales performance and marketing data to develop and refine effective sales and marketing strategies.
+ Provide leadership and direction to a team of account executives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and sales targets.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and finance, to ensure cohesive and integrated sales and marketing initiatives.
+ Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic planning and go-to-market strategies.
+ Establish best practices, training, and performance metrics to drive team success and continuous improvement.
+ Prepare regular performance reports and present key insights to senior leadership.

Requirements
+ Demonstrated success in leading sales teams, preferably in the security or related industries.
+ Strong experience using data and analytics to drive sales and marketing decisions.
+ Proficiency with marketing and data analytics tools—such as CRMs, marketing automation platforms, and business intelligence solutions—with the ability to build reports and dashboards for actionable insights.
+ Proven ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans that achieve measurable results.
+ Excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor, motivate, and develop a team.
+ Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
