Job Summary:
The head of Americas Partner Marketing will lead the strategy and execution of marketing initiatives focused on building and maintaining partnerships. The role involves developing and implementing marketing strategies that drive revenue growth, accelerate pipeline, increase brand awareness and achieve business goals through partnerships across joint ventures, associations, dealer, wholesale, financial institution and independent sales organization and integration partnerships. This individual will lead a team of marketers that will use account based marketing programs to add new partners, expand existing partnerships and market to acquire merchants with joint partner marketing campaigns.
Overseeing the strategy for the partner marketing organization, you will mentor, lead and grow the team, as well as create strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders across our company. Working closely with the partnership leadership team in a fast pace/fast growth environment, you will have the opportunity to significantly impact the strategy and processes related to joint partner marketing as we mature and expand our partner business.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Strategy Development: Define and execute the overall partner marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's broader business objectives. Develop strategic thought leadership and content strategies to drive partner engagement. Partner Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key partners, including strategic alliances, dealers, channel partners, and technology providers. Prepare presentations to partners and other stakeholders to propose new initiatives, communicating the financial justification and business case as appropriate. Campaign & Event Management: Support overall program, partner recruitment and enablement with marketing collateral and campaign development and execution leveraging account based marketing programs. Collaborate with the channel partners to develop and execute programs that drive lead generation and ultimate account acquisition, leveraging the wide range of tactics, in particular digital, email, social, in-branch displays and interactive media, events and other programs. Ensure high visibility of our brand and solutions we offer within the partners’ channels on a perpetual basis. Drive strategic direction for bespoke events, customer advisory, user conferences and tradeshows. Performance Measurement: Track and analyze the performance of partner marketing activities, identifying areas for improvement and optimization for each partner. Budget Management: Oversee the partner marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of partner marketing professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve team goals.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, such as sales, business development, product, and other marketing functions, to ensure alignment and seamless execution of partner initiatives. Innovation and Optimization: Continuously seek opportunities to innovate and optimize partner marketing strategies and programs. Collaborate with partner marketers in other regions on best practices and idea sharing.What We Need from You
Ten or more years in the B2B software marketing space, with a minimum of 5 years in management roles motivating and leading teams. Global experience with diverse and distributed teams required. Experience in account based marketing campaigns targeting complex clients and leveraging technology like Demandbase or 6sense. Strong understanding of digital and paid growth marketing tactics used to market to small to medium sized businesses. Proven track record of developing and executing successful partner marketing strategies that drive revenue growth. Skilled in lead generation, lead attribution and funnel forecasting; ability to collect and analyze data to determine account acquisition triggers and segmentation. Ability to partner closely with sales, telesales and product teams to create unique promotions and programs to capture new business. Keen ability to manage multiple projects, create / manage project plans, maintain budgets and collaborate across multi-functional teams is essential. Can easily prepare and deliver a persuasive presentation to senior level audiences with confidence. Strong overall work ethic, creativity and tolerance for ambiguity with desire to operate in a practical, hands-on environment.About our Marketing Team:
