We want your knowledge and expertise! **Job Summary and Qualifications** Seeking a VP of Business Development, at **Methodist Hospital | Northeast** , who is a member of the Senior Leadership Team at Methodist Healthcare, reporting directly to the SVP of Business Development. Responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating and directing all hospital functions related to growth and business development initiatives, as well as community involvement in order to meet the stated mission, vision and values of Methodist Healthcare System. It is expected that the VP will effectively operate departments, continue the improvement of the departments’ processes and outcomes, comply with hospital and corporate policy and procedures, efficiently manage finances and resources, promote teamwork and customer satisfaction, and integrate the departments’ services into the organization's overall plan for the delivery of care and service. **Essential Job Functions:** + As a member of the hospital's Executive team, this role has heavy influence into the overall strategic plan and business initiatives for a facility. + Monitors progress of business plan strategies. + Initiates development projects in conjunction with business plan strategies and/or new opportunities that are identified after the business plan is finalized. + The role focuses business growth and market strategies to enhance the level of service and physician availability in Arlington including Recruiting efforts, Physician Sales & Marketing, Strategic Plan Development, Employer relations, Marketing/Community Relations. **What qualifications you will need:** + Bachelor’s degree required. + Minimum of 3 years in business, marketing or healthcare management. + Preferred: Master’s degree Methodist Hospital Northeast is a 232 bed, full service hospital.
