Unique opportunity to create a new capability for the monitoring and analysis of client collateral used to secure food and agriculture loans. This is a leadership role in the recently created Collateral Management function for Rabobank North America.

You and Your Job

As a VP - Head of Collateral Oversight & Analytics you will be successful establishing oversight framework in the 2LoR to meet and exceed regulatory expectations. Build analytical capabilities to broaden and deepen Rabobank North America's collateral management insights.

Responsible for managing team of individual contributors in support of the Appraisal team, and potentially the Inspection teams over time. Strategic leader in developing analytics for the active management of collateral, e.g., monitoring and actioning changes in valuation, establishing a back testing process in line with regulatory expectations. Duties include providing direction and leadership to direct reports, creation of reports and/or dashboards to provide insight in the value of collateral, and to provide a solid basis for decision making in the commercial and/or credit process. Ensure the required level of monitoring of collateral values is in place to meet (or exceed) regulatory expectations. Build close partnerships with the Rural and Wholesale businesses to achieve efficiencies with collateral data to meet the needs of both the Business and Risk Management.

Job Responsibilities

Support the Regional Head of Collateral Management NA in devising and delivering strategy as part of Leadership Team

Represent the Collateral Management function in key initiatives to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements

Develop analytical tools for proactive monitoring of collateral

Develop strategic relationships with business leaders in support of overall regional strategy

Batchelor's Degree

10+ years’ experience working in a financial institution

Experience working with structured and unstructured data and developing data management frameworks

Experience managing and developing talent through direct leadership and coaching/mentoring

Ability to travel regionally up to 15%

Salary Expectations:

Target Hiring Range: $155,000.00 - $180,000.00

This position is subject to the terms of [RAF/Rabobank/RDS]’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular positions include all other benefits provided to [RAF/Rabobank/RDS] employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
