This critical leadership role will drive customer acquisition and retention strategies while contributing to the development and execution of the company’s strategic plan. This position is part of the Executive Leadership Team, is located in TBD (Flexible – US or Europe), and will be hybrid/remote with significant travel requirements. **In this role, a typical day will look like:** + Building, developing, and motivating a diverse, highly engaged, and high-performing sales organization. + Providing direct leadership to sales leaders serving US and Europe customers; offering indirect leadership to sales leaders in other regions. + Conducting regular market visits (“Go to Gemba”) to understand customer needs, competitive dynamics, and identify opportunities for growth. + Owning OTT HydroMet’s Growth Engine by ensuring alignment to commercial strategy, Growth Equation, and Growth Bridge with clear linkage to individual goals. + Driving excellence in value-based selling, Question-Based Selling (QBS), funnel management, and CRM (Salesforce.com) adoption. + Refining and optimizing go-to-market models across key accounts, direct field sales, and channel partners for maximum effectiveness and profitability. + Developing and cascading annual sales targets aligned to company strategy; leading sales incentive planning and execution. + Providing ongoing sales forecasts to inform PSI process and OpCo planning, managing risk and opportunity through rigorous funnel reviews and Daily Management. + Collaborating as a member of the Product Planning Group (PPG) to shape innovation and future growth in partnership with Product Management, R&D, and Marketing. **The essential requirements of the job include:** + Minimum of 15 years of progressive commercial experience with at least 8 years in senior sales leadership roles. + Demonstrated success leading direct and indirect global sales teams, attracting top talent, developing high performers, and holding teams accountable. + Strong process orientation focused on delivering excellent customer experiences through value-based selling and disciplined funnel management, ideally with Salesforce.com experience. + Exceptional selling and coaching skills, with a commitment to frequent customer visits to observe, guide, and enhance sales effectiveness. + Proven track record of disciplined execution and valuable contribution to setting and achieving strategic direction. + Ability to develop intimate knowledge of customers, competitors, and the market to drive growth at 2–3x the market rate. + Superior written and verbal communication skills that are clear, concise, and inspire confidence. + Required language: English; a second language (preferably German) is a plus. + Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%, including international travel. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The compensation range for this role is $172.000 - $300.000 USD per year. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
