Description We are looking for an experienced VP/Director of Finance to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This role is pivotal to shaping the financial strategy of our organization and involves close collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure fiscal excellence. The ideal candidate will bring a forward-thinking approach to financial planning and operations. Responsibilities: • Partner with the board of directors and financial committees to align financial strategies with organizational goals. • Prepare and present detailed financial reports to stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and transparency. • Develop and oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to support long-term growth. • Create and refine financial models to aid in strategic decision-making. • Manage and supervise accounting operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. • Monitor cash flow and implement strategies to optimize financial resources. • Conduct month-end close procedures to maintain accurate financial records. • Lead initiatives to improve budgeting processes and overall financial efficiency. • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis. Requirements • Proven experience in financial leadership roles, preferably in the hospitality industry. • Strong expertise in annual budgeting and forecasting processes. • Demonstrated ability to manage month-end close procedures efficiently. • Proficiency in financial reporting and delivering presentations to stakeholders. • Solid understanding of cash flow management and financial modeling. • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or CPA preferred. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
