The Global Marketing function is focused on supporting the strategic and revenue growth priorities of the Bank. The function focuses on understanding customers and the identification, development and execution of Marketing strategies, campaigns and activities that support and strengthen the HSBC brand, support the drive for revenue and increase customer value and satisfaction in order to meet agreed targets and objectives at both a global and market level.
This role will be part of Digital Marketing function and will be responsible to develop and execute customer focused end-to-end digital sales and marketing strategies for our suite of wealth products and deliver the objectives and ambitions of the overall Marketing strategy and plan, in turn driving revenue targets for WPB.
Principal Responsibilities
This role is pivotal in driving the commercialization of our Wealth offerings—including Mutual Funds, Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), Portfolio Management Services (PMS), through data-driven digital campaigns. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing customer acquisition, deepening wallet share, and increasing customer penetration
Formulate and own the comprehensive digital marketing strategy for the wealth business, aligning with overall business objectives and AUM growth targetsDevelop a quarterly and annual roadmap encompassing content, channel mix, budget allocation, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for all wealth productsDevelop compelling product-specific value propositions and differentiated messaging for sophisticated products like PMS and AIFs, translating complex features into clear customer benefitsConceptualize, plan, and drive multi-channel digital campaigns (e.g., email marketing, social media, webinars, content syndication, paid media) to generate leads and drive conversions for wealth productsDevelop and implement strategies to increase Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) through cross-selling and up-selling campaigns targeted at existing clientsDesign segmented email and nurture campaigns based on client lifecycle stages, investment behavior, and product holdingsCreate targeted initiatives to increase wallet share and deepen relationships with high-value client segmentsProvide regular performance reports to senior management, offering data-driven insights and recommendations for strategy refinementSales Enablement Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with the sales and relationship teams to understand market needs, arm them with effective digital collaterals, and ensure campaign alignmentDevelop digital sales enablement kits, including product videos, pitch book, presentation decks, and email templates to improve sales productivityWork with other members of Marketing globally and the business to inform and guide senior stakeholders
