VP Business DevelopmentWhat does a successful VP Business Development do at Fiserv?
Fiserv is seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President to lead our CardConnect agent team at Fiserv and our Clover platform. This unique role will cover the United States, managing a high-performing team of RM sales professionals, focused on accelerating growth across our CardConnect business segment. You will work closely with both large and mid-market partners to develop deep, lasting relationships that drive sale growth. This high-impact leadership role carries responsibility for sales performance, team leadership, and strategic market development.
The ideal candidate will bring a passion for agent and ISO’s, passion for driving team performance, an understanding of sales execution, and a vision for shaping successful partnerships.
What you will do:
Lead and manage a regional sales team focused on driving agent growth and revenue growth through Clover and Fiserv offerings.
Execute against defined sales metrics and KPIs including client acquisition, activation rates, revenue targets and Clover Growth
Serve as the primary advocate for feedback from Agent partners and small business customers, translating insights from customers into actionable outcomes and go-to-market improvements
Partner with Product, Marketing, and Strategy teams to inform the development and direction of the healthcare payments solution based on real-world small business needs.
Present to Fiserv’s clients as part of quarterly reviews on sales performance, new products, field issues and resolution
Inspire, mentor, and lead a high-performing team, reinforcing a results-driven, customer-centric culture.
Assigning clients, territories and sales targets to sales staff and ensuring sales goals are met.
Planning and directing sales activities across the US to ensure staffing requirements are consistently fulfilled.
Defining and executing sales strategies and tactics to increase new merchant sales and add-on revenues
What you will need to have:
Minimum 12 years of sales/RM and sales management experience.
Experience selling merchant acquiring solutions to the SMB market .Experience managing a successful sales/RM teams in the ISO or agent space
A proven track record of exceeding sales targets on a consistent basis.
Demonstrated success at leading field sales/RM teams
Ability to travel 50%+ across the US.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
