Key Responsibilities:
· Social Media Strategy Execution: Conceptualize, create, and execute a comprehensive social media marketing strategy across all platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Quora, and WhatsApp. This includes content planning, Online Reputation Management, community management, paid social campaigns, and performance monitoring to drive brand engagement and increase followers. The role also includes group governance management for social media.
· Investor Education Campaigns: Develop and execute end-to-end 360-degree investor education marketing campaigns on relevant mutual fund topics such as retirement planning, Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs), SIP top-ups, and other mutual fund investor education topics. This involves collaborating with external agencies for content creation, media planning, and campaign execution across various digital offline touchpoints.
· Google Listings Management: Manage and update Google Listings (Google My Business) for all branch locations to ensure accuracy of information, improve local SEO, and enhance online visibility.
· WhatsApp Promotional Channel: Develop and implement strategies to leverage WhatsApp as a promotional channel to achieve cross-selling objectives and improve customer lifetime value through targeted and engaging content.
· Innovative Marketing Campaigns: Conceptualize and execute innovative marketing campaigns based on monthly themes and leveraging moment marketing opportunities to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
· Website Management: Oversee the upkeep and regular updates of the company website, ensuring content accuracy, user-friendliness, and optimal performance. Collaborate with technical teams for website enhancements and maintenance.
· Digital Projects Transformation: Lead and manage various digital marketing projects and transformation initiatives. This includes evaluating new digital tools and platforms, implementing digital solutions, and tracking the effectiveness of these initiatives.
· Performance Reporting Analysis: Collate data, analyze campaign performance across all channels, and prepare regular effectiveness reports with actionable insights to optimize future marketing efforts.
What the role needs:
· Strategic Thinker: They need to see the big picture and understand how social media efforts align with the overall marketing and business objectives of HSBC Mutual Fund. This includes defining clear goals (engagement, follower growth, brand building) and mapping out a long-term vision.
· Needs to have deep understanding of Social Media Platforms in-depth knowledge of the nuances, best practices, and target audiences of each platform. This includes understanding algorithms, ad formats, and content strategies. The social media landscape is constantly evolving. The person needs to be quick to adapt to new digital marketing trends, platform updates, algorithm changes, emerging technologies.
· The role will need excellent knowledge on the mutual fund industry and products to drive Digital Social media strategy and resonate it with different target segments.
· You will need strong project management skills to ensure pace in delivery.
· Good knowledge of Analytics: Person must be comfortable with social media analytics, tracking key metrics, and using data to back their strategies, optimize campaigns, and measure ROI.
· Creative and Innovative: While operating within a regulated environment, the person needs to find creative and engaging ways to communicate complex financial concepts and capture audience attention.
· Risk-Aware Compliant: The financial services industry is highly regulated. The strategist must have a strong understanding of compliance guidelines and ensure all social media communication adheres to legal and regulatory frameworks and group frameworks as well.
