The Pharmacy Consulting Vice President provides strategic, financial and clinical consulting on the pharmacy benefit for employers across all pharmacy solutions. As one of our most senior roles in the practice, this role must have proven experience leading the most sophisticated Pharmacy clients and achieving or exceeding sales goals. This role can be an individual contributor or could lead a team of Pharmacy consultants.
The successful individual will have a strong understanding of the PBM marketplace and be viewed as a connector in the industry by peers within and outside of Aon. The candidate will have a demonstrated track record of thought leadership in pharmacy consulting.
This is a remote role with the flexibility to work virtually from home anywhere within the United States.

What the day will look like:
+ Accountability for developing and implementing strategies to enhance pharmacy benefit offerings for employer clients primarily through an established consulting arrangement inclusive of a (PBM) procurement process, a market check process and/or other services.
+ This role will drive fundamental change in the market, possibly managing regional consultants in our practice, and help to brainstorm and launch new products with scalable revenue.
+ Lead sales initiatives and support of products and services such as audits, PBM Marketing Activities (RFPs/Market Checks/Contract Renewals), Coalition Opportunities, and PBM Implementation Services.
+ Direct interaction with clients and PBM leadership teams.
+ Manage and deliver pharmacy projects serving as client-facing SME and articulating the results from projects and messaging key industry updates. Directly conducting sophisticated engagements and/or supervising a team of others conducting engagements in pharmacy consulting.
+ Consultant will be expected to manage engagements like RFPs, Directorships and other projects. Consultant will work with the financial team on any financial project, will be responsible for presenting findings and understanding results, but will not be expected to complete modeling.
Skills and experience that will lead to success:
+ 10+ years of Pharmacy consulting experience.
+ Viewed as an industry leader with expertise in pharmacy benefits.
+ Deep knowledge negotiating and running consulting engagements.
+ Strong communication skills, both written and oral presentation skills.
+ Ability to manage expectations and understanding all levels.
+ Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and clients with dynamic and shifting timelines.
+ Lead/oversee large, unique clients (may be direct or coalition).
+ We are looking for a mix of non-clinicians and clinicians, we have several roles.

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $160,000 to $240,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
