The Vice President of Operations provides strategic and tactical operational leadership for the accounts and ensures the highest level of client and guest satisfaction, employee engagement and financial performance. The Vice President, Operations accepts and retains full accountability for the business performance against targets and ensures continuous improvement in all areas. This role will oversee about 80 million in Elior's professional dining segment.
This position can be based in Pittsburgh PA but will support businesses throughout the US.
What we're looking for:Minimum Qualifications:
At least 15 years of hospitality operations management experience, including 8+ years in multi-unit leadership roles within food service. Demonstrated success in driving superior operational performance through strong leadership, management, and analytical expertise. Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Strategic thinker with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Skilled in managing multiple projects, tasks, and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Highly organized and effective under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field is highly preferred. Willingness to travel up to 50%. Salary Range 160-180k BOE What you'll be doing:Leadership Effectiveness

Leads teams to achieve revenue targets, proactively identifying opportunities and threats, and implementing strategies to protect and grow the business. Analyzes operations to establish systems that enhance execution and performance, ensuring accountability across teams.
Delivers superior guest and client experiences by consistently reinforcing standards, procedures, and systems. Builds and nurtures strong client relationships to maintain satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Develops high-performing management teams through recruiting, training, coaching, and performance management. Prioritizes the growth and development of employees, focusing on building a robust leadership pipeline.
Business Effectiveness
Drives business performance by aligning operations with company standards and metrics, including guest/client satisfaction, employee engagement, profitability, and safety. Guides units in achieving business objectives and adapting to market conditions with effective sales-building strategies.
Explores innovative approaches to improve revenue and profitability, ensuring appropriate investment and returns. Maintains a deep understanding of food and beverage standards, championing program growth and staying ahead of industry trends.
Oversees the maintenance of company assets and ensures compliance with public health, sanitation, and safety standards. Manages financial reporting, budgeting, and asset security, ensuring efficient resource utilization and accountability.
