**The Role at a Glance**
The VP of Annuity Operations will lead a large high performing team; US and offshore. Has a proven track record of owning full operational budgets, implementing business-wide systems, and designing scalable structures to support new business initiatives. Seasoned change agent who is agile and drives performance through transformation while growing and retaining top talent. Contributes to the development of strategic solutions and ensures strategic alignment to the enterprise and lines of business.
**Ideal candidate profile:**
+ Experience in leading new system implementations and operational transformations that deliver measurable results.
+ Annuity business/product operations experience. Seasoned executive that can present at all leverls within an organization and has successfully led large – high performing operation teams.
+ Has strategic vision, operational discipline and regulatory insights and governance.
+ Transformative leader to scale operations and drive sustainable growth.
**What you'll be doing**
+ Provides highly specialized expertise to analyze trends, identify strategic opportunities, and oversee the implementation of industry leading best practices and strategies to enhance customer experience and improve effectiveness.
+ Oversee the identification, development and execution of strategic initiatives which have substantial impact on the success of Insurance Ops and enhancing the customer experience and successfully meeting the annual business operating priorities.
+ Provides training and development opportunities, including stretch assignments, for team members and gives honest and open feedback to aid in the development of talent.
+ Leads, establishes, and implements priorities, performance goals and objectives to achieve key business results.
+ Guides and evaluates departmental performance and takes appropriate action to meet and/or exceed performance standards.
+ Provides thought leadership and functional expertise to internal/external stakeholders.
+ Contributes to business unit/operational and enterprise strategy creation.
+ Leads and supports enterprise-wide initiatives relating to talent to increase the growth and retention of skilled employees.
+ Builds organizational capability within Insurance Operations.
+ Leads/executes approved strategy for Insurance Operations.
**What we’re looking for**
+ 12+ Years in Operations, customer support that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position, including 5+ years of management, strategy, and influencing senior management/critical stakeholders experience
+ 4 Year/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
+ FINRA Series License 6 – Upon Hire
+ FINRA Series License 26 – Upon Hire

**Level:** M5
The pay range for this position is $157,000 - $285,600 with **anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range** and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
