We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven technology leader to join our team as Vice President, IT Product Delivery. In this role, you will be accountable for the successful delivery of enterprise and customer-facing technology products that align with our strategic goals. You will lead cross-functional teams across product management, engineering, project delivery, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless execution, innovation, and measurable business outcomes.
This is both a leadership and hands-on role, requiring deep subject matter expertise across all areas of responsibility and a proven ability to deliver business value through technology. The successful candidate will oversee internal teams and third-party partners, manage substantial technology investments, and participate as a valued member of the leadership team. The role provides direct visibility to the company’s leadership committee and requires exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making capabilities.
**What You’ll Do:**
**This is a Full-Time Salary Position**
The Vice President of IT Product Delivery is a key leadership role reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of IT. This position is responsible for leading the delivery of technology solutions across the enterprise through a product-based IT organization.
Each product team under this leader’s guidance will include Product Owners, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Application Developers, Quality Assurance specialists, Technical Architects, DevOps professionals, and Data Analysts. The VP will drive alignment between IT and business strategy, promote agile outcome based delivery principles, and ensure that all projects are delivered on time and withing budget constraints.
**Product-Based Delivery Leadership**
+ Lead a product-centric IT organization that aligns technology delivery directly to business value across functional domains.
+ Manage a portfolio of product teams responsible for:
+ Digital customer experience and eCommerce
+ Store systems and retail operations
+ Supply chain and manufacturing applications
+ Human Resources and employee experience tools
+ Administrative services (legal, communications, facilities, etc.)
+ Finance and Accounting platforms
**Team Leadership & Structure**
+ Develop and maintain cross-functional teams with roles such as:
+ Product Owners
+ Business Analysts
+ Project and Program Managers
+ Software/Application Developers
+ QA Engineers
+ Technical Architects
+ DevOps Engineers
+ Data Analysts
+ Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
**Delivery Excellence**
+ Define and implement a development methodology along with product delivery standards, KPIs, and outcome-based release schedules.
+ Ensure agility, responsiveness, and quality in all phases of product lifecycle—from discovery and planning through development, testing, deployment, and support.
+ Drive consistency in backlog management, sprint planning, release cycles, and stakeholder engagement.
**Business Partnership & Strategy**
+ Serve as the primary liaison between IT and business unit leadership across all product areas.
+ Translate business needs into actionable roadmaps and delivery plans.
+ Ensure product teams are resourced, aligned, and prioritized according to company objectives.
**Operational Oversight**
+ Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation across the product portfolio.
+ Ensure that product architecture, DevOps, and analytics disciplines are integrated into product team operations.
+ Promote scalable, secure, and modern technology platforms and delivery methods (e.g., CI/CD, cloud-native development, APIs).
**Environmental Factors & Working Schedule:**
+ Hybrid work environment, 4 days in-person attendance (Pittsburgh, PA) in addition to ability to work remotely.
+ Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands or fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear
+ Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. + Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
+ Specific vision abilities required by this job include long periods of computer screen usage, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
+ The noise level in the work environment is usually low/moderate

**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
+ 15+ years of IT experience with 7+ years in leadership roles delivering enterprise technology solutions.
+ Proven experience leading product-based IT organizations or managing agile product teams.
+ Expertise across multiple business domains, especially in retail, digital commerce, and operations technology.
+ Strong working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies.
+ Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement, roadmap development, and delivery at scale.

**Pay Range**
$200,000 - $240,000 / year
**Pay Transparency**
At GNC, base pay is just one component of our total compensation package. Pay within the range is determined by various factors, including education, work experience, certifications, and federal, state, and local minimum wage regulations. This structure allows for progression as team members grow and develop within their roles. In locations where specific minimum wage requirements apply, the pay range may vary.
