VP, Head of Security Operations Center (Remote)

Broadridge is seeking an experienced Head of Security Operations Center (SOC) to lead our cybersecurity monitoring and incident response efforts. This role is central to enhancing our detection, triage, analysis, and response capabilities, ensuring the security of Broadridge, its clients, and partners. The Head of the Security Operations Center will be responsible for leading and optimizing Broadridge's cybersecurity monitoring and response capabilities. This role involves managing the SOC team, enhancing incident detection and response strategies, and ensuring the organization's ability to counteract emerging security threats while maintaining business continuity.

Develop and implement a strategic vision for the Security Operations Center in alignment with the overall security strategy defined by the CISO.Lead, mentor, and manage a team of SOC analysts and engineers, fostering a culture of agility, innovation, and continuous improvement.Collaborate with senior management and IT teams to ensure SOC operations support strategic business objectives and timely incident mitigation.Guide the SOC team in enhancing threat detection methodologies and incident response protocols to improve organizational resilience.Oversee the deployment of security information and event management (SIEM) systems to centralize and optimize threat monitoring and alerting.Ensure effective integration and utilization of threat intelligence feeds to proactively adapt to evolving cyber threats.Supervise incident response efforts, ensuring rapid containment, recovery, and post-incident analysis to minimize impact.Implement robust processes for log management, data analysis, and threat hunting to enhance proactive threat identification.Provide leadership in refining and automating SOC processes to improve efficiency and reduce mean time to detect and respond (MTTD/MTTR).Report on SOC performance metrics and incident status to the CISO and relevant stakeholders, providing strategic insights and recommendations for enhancement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.Proven experience in managing and operating a Security Operations Center or similar cybersecurity function.Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscapes, and best practices in incident response.Proficiency with cybersecurity tools including SIEM, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.Excellent leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills.Ability to make data-driven decisions and provide actionable insights under pressure.

Salary range $250,000.00- $300,000.00. Bonus Eligible.
