About the Role:

The Everest IT organization is looking to bring in an experienced VP, Global Claims Delivery to support our Global Claims Technology team, located at their US headquarters in Warren, New Jersey, USA. This is a hybrid position working 3 days onsite, 2 remote.

The Delivery Lead will be responsible for driving business transformation and delivering technology initiatives across Claims globally. With superior communication skills, the incumbent will ensure that the strategic programs are delivered with high quality, on time, on budget and in alignment to business objectives.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Drive end-to-end delivery of strategic outcomes in alignment with stakeholders across business and technology.

Implement the overall technology vision of the products/programs, keeping in mind cross-functional impacts and integrations between Global Claims platforms and other applications across the enterprise.

Own and deliver the technical deliverables across programs and be accountable for the implementation across US, UK & Ireland, Europe, LATAM and APAC regions.

Provide management oversight and lead cross functional teams across regions to ensure alignment of program deliverables with business outcomes.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including Product Owners, Business SME’s, Release Train Engineers, Solution Architects, Tech Leads, Scrum Masters, Application Engineers, and Platform Partners.

Ensure timely delivery by identifying bottlenecks and removing impediments. Identify cross project dependencies, analyze risks, and ensure mitigation of potential risks.

Build an environment that promotes continuous improvement and innovation. Deliver business outcomes through excellence in delivery.

Provide technical guidance and leadership, collaborate with architecture teams to drive solution, and lead the integration with insurance applications across the organization.

Own program status communications and dashboards. Drive steering committee meetings and senior executive level governance meetings.

Mentor/Coach a team of Release Train Engineers, Application Engineers, Product Analysts and Quality engineers. Inspire/ Influence teams to achieve success.

Work Experience and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (required) or Master’s degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

20 + years of demonstrable experience running global technology programs, 15+ years of leadership experience.

Experience in managing technology platforms for Insurance or Financial Services institutions.

Experience with Guidewire implementations (PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter/BillingCenter) globally across multiple geographies. Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter Cloud migration preferable.

Experience leading global technology transformation programs and integrating with upstream/downstream applications.

Excellent communication and interpersonal and consultative skills to work effectively and build partnerships and relationships across the organization.

Advanced critical thinking skills with the ability to articulate an approach/solution effectively and succinctly for both business and technology partners.

Ability to support application delivery and technology operations using Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Effective collaborator with ability to develop teams and build positive relationships with peers and business partners.

For NJ only: The base salary range for this position is $225,000 - $265,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
