Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('SpinCo') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Duties
Help manage external communications for NBCUniversal, providing strategic communications and media relations leadership for NBCUniversal’s corporate executives and functions, including legal, government affairs, HR, finance, and operations and technology.Work with the EVP to coordinate external communications across NBCU businesses and brands. Lead issue management and crisis communication, including the development of communications plans and stakeholder outreach.Work closely with government affairs team on communications around federal and state public policy issues.Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders to strengthen the company’s external presence.Manage press inquiries in a timely manner, build relationships with key industry reporters.Prepare leadership for media interviews, external speaking engagements and presentationsCollaborate with communications leaders across the portfolio to manage reputational issues and cross company announcementsWork closely with legal teams and HR to ensure that all external communications comply with industry regulations, corporate policies, and legal requirements. Stay informed on industry news and relevant policy changes to proactively address potential risks and identify new opportunities for the company.QualificationsBasic Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of experience in communications, strategy and executionPrior experience developing and executing successful communications strategies in the public sector around legislative and policy issuesDesired Characteristics:
