Scope of Leadership Role

The Vice President of the Regal Rexnord Business System for the $2B Power Efficiency Solutions (PES) segment will be an experienced senior leader focused on the development, deployment, and evolution of RBS across the business segment to drive short- and long-term strategic goals. The Regal Rexnord Business System (RBS) is a holistic approach to increase profitable growth through customer focus and optimal efficiency in our operations. RBS relies heavily on continuous improvement.

The right candidate will drive a culture of Continuous Improvement while achieving year-over-year performance improvement. As a key member of the PES Segment Leadership Team, this role will impact results and culture by establishing standards, institutionalizing management systems, drive strategy and transformation, and ensuring effective problem-solving skills (& tool capability) across the organization positioning PES for continual growth.

This role will make an immediate impact by:

Delivering meaningful and sustainable results using problem solving and a system building approach as a catalyst to improve organizational skill sets across the manufacturing and non-manufacturing functions for all divisions.

Acting as a thought partner and collaborate on the overall architecture of Continuous Improvement programs with specific focus on Operational Excellence, Product Excellence, and Commercial Excellence culture, process, and tools.

Serving as a senior leadership partner in culture and capability development through business system and talent building that drives sustainable business results.

Being a catalyst for change to drive transformation progress.

Key Responsibilities

Leverage Regal Rexnord Business System tools to drive continuous improvement and achieve SQDCG objectives.

Mentor and coach segment leaders on the Regal Rexnord Business System.

Champion a culture of Continuous Improvement throughout the organization.

Facilitate strategic improvements aligned with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Evaluate organizational readiness and prioritize initiatives to support scalable growth.

Enhance new product development to boost pipeline vitality.

Assess and optimize growth business system infrastructure, including strategic planning, strategy deployment, and sales force productivity.

Collaborate with leadership to identify and execute top-level improvement priorities for top quartile growth.

Develop and communicate a strategic vision for the business.

Analyze business metrics and trends to formulate improvement strategies.

Apply structured problem-solving to diagnose issues and identify opportunities.

Drive transformation in challenging areas.

Train executives and teammates on Continuous Improvement methods.

Lead and coach multiple projects and Kaizen events.

Translate strategic vision into actionable items, balancing strategic and tactical approaches.

As a member of the leadership team, develop and communicate a future vision for the business. Garner followership across the organization to progress the transformation to achieve the future growth.

Identify, coach, and develop talent on methodologies across the division to leverage RBS Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies to support their professional advancement and improve the business's operational performance.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and Advanced degree (MS Engineering, MBA)

Minimum 10 years of related work experience in progressively responsible leadership roles, including those in lean business system environments, Sales and Marketing (Commercial), Product Line Management, Strategy, and/or General Management with P&L responsibilities

Experience in lean transformation rollouts across multiple businesses within a global platform

Experience with business strategy planning/development and facilitating Strategy Deployment at senior leadership levels

Strong Program/Project Management skills (PMP, Agile certification preferred)

Proven leadership of change management using proven methodology (i.e., Kotter, Prosci)

Proven successful applications of multiple CI tools: 80/20, Value Stream Mapping, 6S, Lean Conversion, Standard Work, Visual Daily Management, Kanban/Replenishment systems, 3P, FMEA, Advanced Problem Solving

Critical thinking skills to properly identify problem areas and potential solutions

Analytical skills to properly interpret data

Leadership skills to develop and mentor teams on the Continuous Improvement journey

Financial and operational experience to support demand/supply pipeline

Strong cross-functional facilitation and teambuilding skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills; general computer skills and knowledge

Flexibility for traveling 50%+ of the time

Expected base salary range: $250,000 - $290,000
The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for all statewide locations across the United States. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons.
