Job Title: VP Media Insights- Agency Lead

Job Location: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago ,Norwalk, New york City

About the role:

The VP, Agency Lead role is a leadership role responsible for strengthening relationships with key clients and supervising a team of roughly 30 people.

You will set a high standard for quality and excellence on key account(s), design strategic research that offers clients innovative and compelling insights and help guide the strategic direction of our Media clients;

Own specific account engagements and responsible for the client relationships, financial targets and profitability of the Agency practice; ensure technical operational advancements and efficiencies are being accomplished and rolled out to the entire media team (120+ people);

Work closely with Commercial leads to find opportunities and design strategies for business growth; Socialize new products and proprietary assets to build and expand client relationships; Remain abreast on market developments and trends to provide perspective to our clients on emerging themes in the industry, including the impact on proprietary solutions; Own a commercial growth target to ensure client success and satisfaction across all product solutions across Media engagements; Assess and manage performance metrics of accounts, mitigate risk, and proactively manage financial targets; Ensure the development of training materials and deployment of Media solutions across the total Media team – methodology technicalities, product knowledge, data analysis, writing and delivering oral presentations; Assess strategy and assist in the deployment across the Media group; Partner with Media operations to ensure strategy is progressing, and the proper roll out and tech expansion aligns with executive leadership directives; Lead and inspire team while strengthening and expanding the relationship between Kantar and NA client teams; Work with Media Team leadership to identify necessary resources and staffing for new projects;

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Working in collaboration with the NA Media Leadership Team, be responsible for growth and the commercial success of the Media Agency business.You will work alongside the Media Solutions leaders and team to help ensure a seamless client experience.

Sales and Business Development

Drive client discovery and solutions design architecture for Media opportunities as they ariseHelp develop and implement account growth plans with Client Partners and Media BDWork closely with Client Partners and Media Business Devopment and account leadership team to identify opportunities and strategies for growthDrive strategies for program renewals, cross-selling and organic growth

Client Leadership & Success

Serve as a trusted advisor to clients ensuring client success and satisfaction across all types of Media engagementsStay on top of marketplace developments and trends to provide perspective to our clients on emerging themes in the industryHelp strengthen and expand relationship between Kantar and NA client teamsWork with Media Team leadership to identify necessary resources for new projectsActively strive to shape the future of our group – through innovation, overall vision, and offer developmentCommunicate expertly and effectively to diverse audiencesLead and inspire team with positivity and optimism, contributing to a culture of high expectations and achievement

EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITIES

You will be business savvy with the ability to engage client-facing commercial teams and inspire internal teams to design brand insights projects to guide the strategic direction of brands. Have a passion for developing solutions to address real-world client issues and pain while balancing the needs of a wide range of stakeholders.

BA/BS degree in marketing, business management, or economics12-15+ years of custom market research design experience in measuring Media effectivness, experience commercializing brand consulting and agency services, and delivering on client impact, while partnering with business development and sales teamsExperience crafting study designs for strategic research projects, serving as subject matter expert on effective research design to clientsExperience using research & analytics to advise brand management and marketing strategiesCreative, out-of-the-box problem solver that can take a highly customized approach to research and analytic designStrong client service orientation, ability to build effective working relationships with high-level client stakeholders such as brand, media, and advertising directors, and CMOsExpertise in translating clients’ business requirements into solutions, and effectively positioning solution value in terms of business value and ROIAbility to effectively lead, collaborate, triage and make decisions in a fast-paced, constantly changing environmentDemonstrated proficiency in team collaboration and delivering through influence within a large matrix organizationInsatiable drive to innovate, question the status-quo, and the intellectual honesty to measure success based on resultsBoundless intellectual curiosity to continually explore how to do things better, faster, and cheaper Exceptional listening, written, and verbal communication skillsExperience handling large teamsDemonstrated soft skills Ability to travel as needed

The salary range for this role in Chicago is $ 122,700.00 - $204,500.00 our final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
