The role encompasses financial management, operational reporting, process development, communication flow and best practices across Starcom. **Responsibilities** + Lead and oversee a team of operations professionals in support of client-specific operational tasks across Practice Areas. This may include some or all of the following, but is not limited to: + Financial Management: + Play a leadership role in Starcom scope and fee negotiations, SOW creation, scope management and key KPI tracking, with input from key stakeholders at Starcom. + Oversee delivery of monthly budgets + Ensure media authorization compliance + Support monthly firm/flex reporting + Track PO information + Facilitate monthly billing verification and issue client billing + Monitor A/R and vendor payments + Oversee internal financial forecasting reporting + Serve as main point of contact for Agency Finance + Manage team expenses – approvals and tracking + Support Finance and Procurement as needed + Business planning + Liaise with Finance & HR to manage staffing matrix, ALVIN, position approvals and staffing liability paybacks + Agency hours tracking and reporting + Central point of contact for Starcom audits + Liaison to Legal + Media Systems/Reporting + Systems access and admin across variety of media systems (e.g. Media Tools) + Competitive Reporting + Diversity Reporting + Client-specific custom reporting and/or dashboards + Project Management + Data collection and aggregation for market mix modeling + Monitor in-scope deliverables + Identify and track out of scope projects & fees + Lead/participate in team meetings and support team social events & client-related functions + New team member on-boarding + Ensure agency and client compliance trainings are completed + Connect teammates to people, resources, information and best practices across Starcom **Leadership and Talent Management:** + Manage and mentor team + Actively participates in critical assessment of assigned talent at all levels, insuring developmental plans and feedback are in place to support motivation, retention of top talent, belonging/diversity and succession planning. + Provides mentorship to junior talent and seeks reverse mentorship from senior talent + Participates in leadership development opportunities **Qualifications** + Bachelors Degree preferred, ideally with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Applied Mathematics or related field. + 10+ years of related experience, preferably in a media agency setting + Progressive leadership experience + Proven track record of managing relationships + Adaptable in various situations, good with numbers, great with people + Able to balance numerous, simultaneous work streams + Organized, detail-oriented, good with time management, obsessed with accuracy, a strong critical thinker, and able to juggle multiple tasks. + A strong communicator who acts with diplomacy. + Excited by the idea of diving deep into data, including new technologies where benchmarks are just beginning to emerge. + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly PPT and XLS (where filtering, pivoting, charts and graphs) **Additional information** Our Publicis Groupe motto “Viva La Différence” means we’re better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
