THE JOB
We're seeking a dynamic, well-connected, entrepreneurial professional with national sponsorship sales experience with a deep knowledge and understanding of brands and their marketing needs.
You'll work closely with our internal marketing teams and leverage your deep knowledge of industry needs to ensure that we're creating programs that use the right mix of Live Nation assets and products to solve our clients' specific challenges and help them meet their marketing goals – all while enhancing the experience of Live Nation's fans.
Focused on relationships, this role will identify, qualify, and call directly on marketing decision-makers, persuasively pitching, negotiating and closing nationwide, music-based partnerships across festivals, venues, digital / social media, and content.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
+ Find, develop, and close new business opportunities with leading brands, prospecting within your network while opening doors to new partnerships by educating marketers on Live Nation’s capabilities and unique marketing value structure.
+ Work with Integrated Marketing and Creative teams to build high impact live music-based marketing platforms that measurably drive brands' marketing objectives.
+ Manage development of and deliver brand pitches to senior marketing executives that position Live Nation as a strategic partner to key decision-makers.
+ Lead deal development and negotiation, from building term sheets to partnering with legal teams to help execute multi-year contracts.
+ Grow and renew existing accounts by developing strong and profitable relationships with brand partners, delivering industry-leading levels of creativity and customer service.
+ Have established trust and deep client / agency relationships so you are the first person they contact when thinking about music strategy.
+ Advise/support development of overall sales strategy and positioning for overall business development.
+ Be on top of relevant global market trends, client needs, expectations and opportunities as well as shifts in the competitive landscape across sports and entertainment.
+ Host clients at Live Nation shows, providing unparalleled hospitality to our partners and prospects.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
+ BA/BS Degree required
+ 8+ years sponsorship & brand partnerships sales within Entertainment, Sports, or agency. Experience in sponsorship sales, music preferred.
+ Proven track record of successfully working with brands to create, sell and execute best-in-class innovative integrated marketing programs and promotions.
+ Experience carrying and exceeding a 7-figure quota.
+ Exceptional ability to successfully manage and problem-solve in a group of stakeholders with different priorities; familiarity with navigating a large, decentralized organization.
+ Strong understanding of and relationships with senior level and influential marketing executives at brands and their agencies, including decision-making structure and process.
+ Well-honed analytical ability and experience working with data and making data-driven decisions.
+ High energy and a collaborative personality that thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment.
+ Demonstrated high-level relationship building, problem-solving and negotiating skills, both internally and externally.
+ A reputation as a "go-getter" and "rainmaker" and “team contributor.”
+ Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities with compelling presenting/pitching and written communication skills.
+ Some travel required.

The expected compensation for this position is: $150 ,000 USD - $175,000 USD
** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
