The Vice President, Agency Development serves as the senior executive accountable for GumGum’s relationship with a Global Holding Company. This role carries full strategic, commercial, and operational ownership of the partnership, with a mandate to accelerate growth, drive innovation, and secure GumGum’s position as a top-tier partner across the Hold Co agencies and markets.

As a key member of the revenue leadership team, this role will set the vision for agency development within the holding company, oversee execution, and ensure alignment with GumGum’s broader business objectives. The ideal candidate brings deep holding company expertise, a track record of scaling high-value partnerships, and the leadership presence to engage at the highest levels inside both organizations.

Note: GumGum fosters a flexible work environment, offering GumGummers the ability to work either in-office or remotely/from home. However, for occasional in-person collaboration, we kindly ask that this position be located within a 'commutable' distance to our office.

What You'll Achieve

Own and Lead the Hold Co Relationship: Serve as the single point of accountability for  the entire Hold Co partnership, setting the long-term vision and commercial strategy. P&L Accountability: Drive profitable revenue growth from the Hold Co accounts; manage forecasting, budgeting, and commercial performance. Strategic Growth Development:  Develop and implement a multi-year partnership plan that increases GumGum’s footprint, solution adoption, and share of wallet. Executive Engagement:  Build and sustain trusted relationships with the Hold Co C-suite and senior executives, positioning GumGum as a strategic business partner. Trading Deal Strategy:  Lead all holding company-level trading agreements from inception through implementation, ensuring commercial terms that deliver mutual value and long-term sustainability. Technology Integration:  Champion the integration of GumGum’s technology and platforms into the Hold Co’s workflows, buying systems, and planning infrastructure to unlock scalable adoption, long-term value, and preferred vendor positioning Cross-Functional Financial Alignment: Collaborate closely with Finance to structure trading deal terms that support growth while protecting margin and overall commercial viability. Sales Enablement: Partner with regional sales leadership to activate and ensure consistent adoption of trading agreements, visibility of performance, and market-level execution excellence. 

Skills You'll Bring

15+ years of experience in digital advertising, media sales, or agency development, with extensive experience managing holding company Partnerships at a senior executive level. Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and managing multi-million-dollar P&Ls. Proven ability to lead complex, high-value partnerships with creativity and commercial acumen. Strong network within at least one Global Hold Co or comparable holding companies. Executive presence and ability to influence at the C-suite level, both internally and externally. Deep experience negotiating and managing holding company trading deals and driving their implementation across large sales organizations. Demonstrated ability to lead and support technology integration efforts with agency partners. Strong collaboration skills, especially with Finance, Product, and Engineering teams, to ensure sustainable deal structures, platform integration, and ongoing performance tracking. Strategic thinker with strong operational discipline and an ability to translate vision into action. Experience working in or with a fast-paced, high-growth technology or media company. Deep understanding with the evolving ad tech and digital media landscape. Comfortable being an individual contributor in the near-term, with potential to build a team.

What We Offer

At GumGum, competitive base pay is a part of a total rewards package which also includes benefits, an emphasis on recognition, development, and wellness. The reasonable estimated base pay range for this role is from $237,000 - $266,500 annually.  The actual amount may be higher or lower. Individual compensation will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant qualifications, work location, and labor market conditions.

The total rewards package offered also includes an employer-matched 401(k) retirement plan, and depending on the role, participation in a bonus, commission, or stock incentive program.
