**Schedule:** Monday Friday 8a-5p. Some Travel may be needed at times.

**Location** : 2 openings: AdventHealth Minneola & AdventHealth Non-Acute
**The community youll be caring for:**
+ Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando

**The role youll contribute:**
The Volunteer Services Program Manager executes AdventHealths volunteerism strategy and leads hospital volunteers at their hospital campus(es) for the AdventHealth Central Florida Division South Region. They are responsible for managing best-practice initiatives and bringing resources to departments to enhance the patient and team member experience. Collaborating with the hospital departments to train and retain the volunteers. They act as a subject matter expert in regulatory compliance, volunteer systems, recruiting, orientation and retention. They serve as supervisor volunteers in their market and utilize knowledge of policy and procedures, hospital regulations and inter-departmental functions. Responsible for development and expansion of volunteer systems, reporting, regulatory compliance and growth of generosity through volunteer initiatives that align with campus priorities. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Builds relationships with Campus leadership, and department leaders that partner to develop and identify volunteer roles that meet the business needs of the hospital and positively impact patient and team member experience.
Identifies and responds to all volunteer inquiries directing applicants through the orientation and onboarding process.
Work with hospital leadership to develop a strategy for requirement and deployment of volunteers in new service lines.
Rounds with and supports volunteers to ensure engagement, maximize productivity, consistency, and accountability through use of hospital visits, team meetings and observations
Communicate with Processing to ensure all onboarding requirements have been completed prior to notifying manager of start date.
Supports new volunteers by conducting candidate interviews, onboarding, managing compliance, and directs candidate based on education, skill level and interest to the right volunteer position.
Collaborates with campus leadership when there are issues related to volunteer retention to find ways to modify volunteer role and best support team members for desired outcomes.
**Qualifications - External**

**The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed** **:**
+ Bachelors degree in human resources, business administration, healthcare administration, health sciences, communications, public relations, marketing, non-profit management, education, or related field
+ Masters degree (preferred)
+ Four (4) years of relevant work experience in human resources, business, government, community organizations or volunteer leadership or of functional work experience with healthcare and non-profit industry
+ Two (2) years of leadership experience
CAVS (Certified Administrator of Volunteer Services) _(Preferred)_
