Job Introduction

As a Visitor Services Administrator for Sodexo, based in Ipswich Hospital, you’ll be the friendly and professional first point of contact for staff, patients, and visitors – helping to deliver a seamless general office and support service. You’ll manage ID badge and parking permit requests, support with patient travel reimbursement, and maintain essential administrative systems, all while providing an exceptional level of customer service. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and compassionately, working in a fast-paced healthcare environment where no two days are the same. Join Sodexo and be part of something greater. What you’ll do:

Deliver high-quality general office and front-facing support services

Issue and manage staff ID badges, parking permits, and travel documentation

Assist with the secure handling of cash and patient belongings

Respond to enquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face

Liaise with internal departments and external contractors professionally and efficiently

What you bring:

Proven experience in a customer-facing administrative or service role

Great communication and interpersonal skills

High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Ability to work under pressure with compassion and professionalism

Flexible, team-oriented approach with a “can-do” attitude
