This role is part of Alcon's Marketing function, a team that helps provide access to products across all channels, including through traditional Marketing strategies, event planning, and professional education.

The Manager, Vision Care Product/Brand Marketing - Downstream (Management Path), is primarily responsible for defining and implementing product and brand strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and analyzing market data to drive growth and profitability. You will be expected to build effective and meaningful relationships with local management and global marketing to align strategies and ensure successful execution. Specifics include:

• Define product strategy with local management and regional marketing, and implement tactical plans/projects
• Develop brand strategy, promotional campaigns, and tactical plans within marketing budgets
• Prepare content for Integrated Brand Teams and Launch Teams
• Run market research programs and monitor market development
• Execute, monitor, and analyze tactical plans to ensure brand growth
• Lead the cross-functional local/regional brand team and coordinate the Integrated Product Strategy Plan
• Develop promotional activities in line with internal SOPs and Code of Conduct guidelines
• Monitor and control brand budgets, forecasts, and expenses, evaluating cost-effectiveness and results
• Identify market insights and opportunities through customer interactions• Manage the business relationship and activities with HCPs / key accounts to foster and extend the relationship
• Execute central and regionally initiated marketing activities
• Monitor product performance and the external environment, taking corrective action if needed
• Ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations
• Develop and lead insight work for deep consumer understanding
• Use new technology to develop tools and create new capabilities
• Collaborate with regional Vision Care leaders to adopt tailored marketing strategies
• Develop and implement direct-to-consumer activities, including social media and Above The Line marketing
• Support sales team with pharmacy and consumer Point of Sale materials
• Plan and execute direct-to-consumer media campaigns, setting and measuring Key Performance Indicators to optimize the media budget
