**Employment Type:** Part time **Shift:** Rotating Shift **Description:** **Position Purpose** At **Saint Francis Hospital** the Virtual Registered Nurse RN is a key part of our innovative Virtual Connected Care delivery Model. This is a true team approach to patient-centered care and uses technology to support direct care staff and increase patient interaction. **What you will do** + The Virtual RN is connected to the Patient Room virtually with complete access to medical records and performs detailed examinations via advance camara technology. + They also provide mentoring and support to the direct care nurse. **Minimum Qualifications** + **Education** : Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program. Specialty credentialing & educational degree according to clinical nursing practice specialty area. BSN graduate preferred. + **Licensure** : Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut. + **Certification** : BLS certification required. + **Experience:** Minimum Eight (8) years of experience in health condition management, which must include adult condition management and Hospital experience. + Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience.
