Virtual Garage Specialist

Saatchi & Saatchi currently maintains a hybrid work policy to work in-office three days per week and remotely the other two days each week. **Responsibilities** The Production Department is looking for a Virtual Garage Specialist who will play an integral role in managing, organizing, distributing and security vetting all automotive CAD data on behalf of our client. Secondarily, they support the creative execution for all 3D initiatives. The position is on a **Short-Term Agreement** and the dates of the agreement are from **9/2/2025-3/31/2026** . **Qualifications** We are looking for candidates who possess a problem-solving mentality, have leadership and collaborative qualities, and express curiosity within and beyond their role and team. We encourage you to apply if you have: + Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Design, Product Design, Computer Graphics, Computer Science, Visual Communications, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering or related field + 1 to 5 years experience working as an Artist, Designer or Technical Director in a fast-paced, quickly changing, demanding environment + 1 to 5 years production experience using Autodesk Maya, Unreal Engine in visual effects, manufacturing or architectural visualization industries + Prior VFX experience including Modeling, UV wrapping, Texturing, and Lighting + Experience with materials and shaders using Arnold, V-Ray, Redshift and/or Unreal including Physically-Based Rendering (PBR) materials + Experience crunching something down to a low polygon count, but knowing where to preserve details + Contribute to both manual and automated processes to organize and distribute CAD and polygonal data + Experienced creating pipelines and artist tools for Maya, Unreal, Substance + Hands-on programming experience with Python, pymel, mel, blueprints, C++ highly desired + Experience with building digital asset libraries including version control/databases + Knowledgeable with AI tools for GenAI and scripting + Capable of leveraging Al tools for the development of pipeline improvements + Abide by strict workflow and file management practices while helping to improve them + Interact with cross-functional design teams especially collaborating closely with specialists and technical experts + Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in communicating technical concepts to non-technical team members + High attention to detail when dealing with highly complex models and data sets + Maintain a detailed understanding of design and technology trends and best practices + A broad base of artistic and technical knowledge + Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications + Possess a deep understanding and knowledge of automotive systems and marketplace + Capable of high-fidelity modeling for hard surfaces, soft parts, with a deep technical understanding of topology, UVs, and geometry efficiencies + Experience in 3D modeling using 3DS Max, ZBrush and/or Mudbox + Materials and shaders experience including Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Unreal materials and USD + Knowledge of Autodesk Alias, Rhino, Solidworks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, Showcase, VRED + 2D Compositing or Graphic Design experience is a plus (After Effect, Photoshop, Nuke) + Experience in offline rendering pipeline + Experience with production management tools, especially ftrack **Additional information** Our Publicis Groupe motto “Viva La Différence” means we’re better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
