Virtual Account Manager, Western Canada
Come join our team in the role of Virtual Account Manager! Under the District Leader's supervision, the key job responsibilities of the Virtual Account Manager are to take accountability for sales support with specific accounts in Western Canada to optimize sales volume and market share of Corteva herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and seed. The Virtual Account Manager is responsible for developing sales strategies, resource plans, and training, ensuring sales objectives are met. In addition to retail account management, the Virtual Account Manager will also be responsible for managing inbound (phone/email) inquiries from farmers and channel partners. **What You'll Do:** Increase the level of service by Corteva for the retail channel and farmer customers Proactively plan to grow the business together with supportive retails: + Share business strategies and annual plans. + Identify opportunities/actions with growers. + Create forecasts for seed and crop protection based on opportunities. Provide timely and relevant access to information: new product training, product updates, offer rollout, technical support. Develop and analyze product, market, and competitive data to prioritize commercial opportunities with accounts across Western Canada. Develop customer target lists for all accounts, utilizing sales history and grower program parameters as the basis for leads Communicate regularly with District Leaders and Territory Managers on activities and opportunities with accounts within their respective districts. Coordinate with Wholesale distribution partners, in collaboration with District leaders, on synergistic activities to support business growth Work together with existing Virtual Account Managers to manage inbound inquiries from farmers and retails to a successful resolution. **What You'll Need:** + Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, or Marketing required, will consider other degrees with related field sales experience. + Demonstrated skills in selling, negotiating, influencing, conflict resolution, handling objections, and coaching. + Proficiency with Microsoft Suite: Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint + Ability to work independently with minimum supervision + Agility to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment + Strong planning, communication, and presentation skills + Self-starter, energetic, positive thinker/attitude Corteva Agriscience™ is an equal opportunity employer.
