Viewer Experience Advocate
Location: On-site in San Antonio, TX (fully remote after 3-4 week in person training process)
Training Location: San Antonio, Texas
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (90 days)
Pay Rate: $17.75/hour
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Availability: Open availability required Monday-Sunday, 6:00 AM - 11:00 PM
Start Date: Monday, August 25th, 2025

As a Viewer Experience Advocate, you'll be at the forefront of viewer interactions, using your technical expertise to enhance customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. What You'll Do
Customer Support Excellence
+ Provide exceptional support via phone and chat for account management, billing, and content questions
+ Guide viewers through site and application navigation with patience and expertise
+ Resolve technical queries and ensure seamless streaming experiences
+ Make personalized product recommendations during every interaction
Technical Problem-Solving
+ Utilize your understanding of network functionality and streaming devices
+ Troubleshoot technical issues across multiple platforms and regions
+ Support diverse product offerings using various systems
+ Adapt quickly to new technologies and procedures
Comprehensive Training Program
Phase 1: Classroom Training (3-4 weeks)
+ In-person training in San Antonio, Texas
+ Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
+ Comprehensive product and systems education
Phase 2: Hands-On Training (8-10 weeks)
+ Continued in-person training in San Antonio
+ Monday-Friday, 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM
+ Real-world application with mentor support
Equipment Provided
+ All necessary work equipment supplied
+ Equipment pickup required on first day in San Antonio
Remote Work Requirements
After successful training completion:
+ Dedicated, quiet home workspace (not shared)
+ Direct ethernet connection to home modem (WiFi insufficient)
+ Minimum internet speeds: 50 Mbps download / 25 Mbps upload
+ Must reside within 45 miles of San Antonio office
+ Reliable transportation for occasional on-site visits
Required Qualifications
Experience & Education
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Minimum 1 year customer service experience
+ Must pass Call Center Skills Assessment (80% or higher)
Technical Skills
+ Proficiency in Windows Operating Systems
+ Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Docs
+ Familiarity with digital streaming services and devices
+ Excellent internet, email, and instant messaging navigation
Communication & Soft Skills
+ Outstanding written and verbal communication in English and Spanish
+ Excellent typing, phone, and computer navigation abilities
+ Strong documentation and comprehension skills
+ Professional communication with proper grammar and spelling
Work Style Requirements
+ Positive, adaptive attitude ready to meet evolving needs
+ Strong time management and accountability skills
+ Willingness to work 365 days per year, including holidays
+ Flexibility for weekend and holiday schedules

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.75 - $17.75/hr.
