Video Production Technician 1-Midland, MI

 

How You’ll Contribute:

The purpose of the Video Production Technician I is to support the Studio team with coordination and execution of a variety of daily webcasts, live production and remote location shoots to meet our client’s communications needs.  Under the direction of the Producer/Director, interact with internal and external clients, studio teammates and external supplier personnel for the successful completion of all video production projects.  This role is an on-site role based in Midland, MI.

 

What You’ll Do:

Provide technical support for all webcast and live productions under the direction of the on-site Producer/Director.  Supporting the Director, Producer, Technical Director, and other production personnel before, during and after live productions and webcasts with equipment preparation, asset gathering, operation, strike, and cleanup. Operation of field A/V equipment at various locations. Acting subject matter experts on studio best practices and components such as signal flow and teleprompting. Work alongside the engineering group to implement and test changes to the studio environment. Act and dress professionally and be comfortable working with the highest levels of an executive team. Other production-related duties as assigned. 

 

What You’ll Bring:

Education & Certifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

 

Required Skills/Qualifications:

2-4 Years AV – Studio Video Production field production experience. 4 Year degree in Broadcast Production, Multi-Media, is a plus.
