Responsibilities

Conduct quantitative analysis of the current markets, trends and trading strategies.

Perform numerical analysis of existing models and implement and test performance enhancements.

Investigate and improve high frequency algorithmic trading strategies.

Generate required documentation and testing to support model risk management ongoing model review and validation.

Work with front office technology teams to integrate models into the trading and risk systems.

Perform work required to support regulatory and compliance requirements.

Implement and test models and model application prototypes, using Python and Jira.

Use numerical analysis of models and model performance evaluation to evaluate model applications and guide model enhancement.

Conduct quantitative analysis of current markets trends to provide insights for trading.

Extract market data/information using Bloomberg to collect inputs for model/application development and to confirm product specifications.

Prepare professional technical documents outlining application design and changes, model development and changes and quantitative works.

Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

Required Skills & Experience

Master's degree or equivalent in Financial Mathematics, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or related: and

3 years of experience in the job offered or a related Finance occupation.

Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:

Implementing and testing models and model application prototypes, using Python and Jira;

Using numerical analysis of models and model performance evaluation to evaluate model applications and guide model enhancement;

Conducting quantitative analysis of current markets trends to provide insights for trading;

Extracting market data/information using Bloomberg to collect inputs for model/application development and to confirm product specifications; and,

Preparing professional technical documents outlining application design and changes, model development and changes, and quantitative works.
