The Vice President of Technology is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for shaping and executing the company’s technology vision and strategy in alignment with its mission of delivering innovative and secure solutions to U.S. government clients. The Vice President of Technology will oversee technology development, solutioning to support strategic business development goals and ensure the company maintains a competitive edge and delivers mission-critical services in accordance with federal requirements. Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Develop and implement the company’s technology vision, develop technology roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business development goals and federal client needs. Provide executive-level leadership on technology strategy, investment, and innovation. Partner with the President and Chief Operating Officer, and other executives to drive growth and diversification in the government services market. Assess emerging technologies and trends (e.g., AI/ML, cloud modernization, cybersecurity) to identify opportunities for differentiation and value creation. Technology Vision & Capability Development Define and communicate a technology vision that aligns with U.S. government modernization goals, mission requirements, and policy priorities. Build and sustain enterprise-level technology capabilities (e.g., cloud modernization, cybersecurity resilience, AI/ML, advanced data analytics, zero trust architectures) that support long-term government objectives. Ensure investments in R&D and innovation are directly connected to federal client needs and evolving procurement priorities. Guide the company in balancing near-term program delivery with long-term strategic capability development. Market & Policy Alignment Track federal technology policy shifts, emerging mandates, and cross-agency initiatives to position the company at the forefront of government priorities. Represent the company in industry and government forums, shaping and influencing technology policy discussions relevant to national missions. Serve as a trusted technology advisor to federal stakeholders, helping bridge government challenges with industry innovation. Talent & Organizational Leadership Shape the company’s long-term technical workforce strategy, ensuring depth and breadth of expertise across critical domains. Cultivate a pipeline of technical leaders who can grow into executive roles and provide continuity of leadership. Build a culture of innovation, ethical responsibility, and mission-first service that resonates with government stakeholders. Key Executive-Level Accountabilities Strategic Technology Roadmap: Define multi-year capability development plans tied to government modernization and mission priorities. Investment Stewardship: Provide input to the Board on technology investments, M&A opportunities, and strategic partnerships that enhance federal market competitiveness. Governance & Oversight: Report regularly to the Board on technology risks, opportunities, and alignment with corporate strategy. Innovation Leadership: Ensure the company remains a leading-edge provider of secure, mission-critical technology solutions. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in information technology, engineering or related field. 20+ years of Information Technology experience to include 5+ years as Chief Information or Technology Officer. CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP, ISSEP, ISSMP certifications required. PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. TS/SCI clearance required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proven track record in senior technology leadership roles within the U.S. government contracting or federal technology services sector. Deep understanding of federal missions, acquisition processes, and long-term technology priorities. Demonstrated success in building and scaling enterprise technology capabilities in alignment with government needs. Strong relationships within government and industry, with the ability to influence and anticipate technology direction at the policy level. Ability to anticipate federal mission needs. Ability to be a trusted advisor to executives, board members, and government leaders alike. Deep commitment to supporting U.S. national interests and government missions. High ethical standards, with credibility in both technical and policy areas.
