The Vice President of Hotel Technology holds an instrumental role for leading the strategy and execution of hotel technologies that align with the Omni Brand vision of being All In. Specifically, this role will focus on technologies including High-Speed Internet Access, Guest Room Entertainment along with software that positively impact Spa, Salon, Golf and Resort. This strategic role will manage Omni Hotels’ operations by setting reliable and stable technology solutions. It is critical for this leader to have hospitality industry experience in addition to robust technical skills and analytical skills as they will provide leadership to the technology organization.
ResponsibilitiesSuccessful candidates will:
Partner with Omni’s Hotel Operations teams to identify, assess, plan, and implement technologies that create a frictionless guest experience during their stay at an Omni HotelOverall management of Omni Hotels’ property technology resources, with an emphasis on standardization and synergy of existing technologies with a focus on reliable and stable solutionsContinuously measure and monitor the effectiveness of the property technology and the alignment with Omni’s mission regarding an exceptional guest experienceLead the design, development, and implementation of technology solutions for all new development projects, acquisitions, and divestituresStay apprised of developments in technology, the hospitality industry and its suppliers and competitors’ capabilities; advise other senior managers of competitive implications and opportunities to improve service and/or profitabilityCollaborate in the definition of Omni’s information systems strategic plan and execute for operational excellence in deliveryAssure cost-effective systems support for the company’s business operations. Review hardware and software acquisition and maintenance contracts and pursue master agreements to capitalize on economies of scale.Qualifications

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in technology fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in Hospitality industry with hotel/resort systemsMust have at least 5 years of experience in planning, architecting, and delivering mission-critical enterprise-grade systems and solutionsMinimum of 5 years of experience working closely with Project Stakeholders, Executive Management, and frontline associates to determine requirements and needs aligned to business goals and objectives

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Hospitality Management, or related field
