THE ROLE
The Vice President of Insights & AI will sit inside the senior leadership team of our Legends Global Insights group, leading the Functional Insights groups supporting Legends Global, driving measurable impact across our global portfolio of clients. He or she will also drive insight and adoption of best-in-class Legends Global Insights trends and innovation.
Overseeing the Functional Insights group focused on Modeling (Data Science), Guest (Survey and Experience), CRM (Salesforce), Strategy (Partnership), Reporting (Data Visualization) and Marketing (Email), with a heavy emphasis on leading enterprise AI efforts. This leader will manage, scale and grow the director-level talent accountable for delivery of data-based projects to Enterprise and Service stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Collaborate with executive leadership to define and implement the strategic vision for business intelligence and insights.
Offer thought leadership on emerging trends and technologies in analytics and business intelligence.
Identify key performance indicators in collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive prioritization and benefit realization.
Drive corporate data teams to develop dashboards, analytical models, and reporting systems for actionable insights.
Act as a liaison between enterprise data architecture, Hospitality Insights, Sales Insights, Partnership Insights, and other Services to ensure alignment with organizational objectives, maintaining critical relationships for effective positioning in the marketplace.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements below represent knowledge, skill, and ability.
Between 5-8 years of experience in quantitative, analytical consulting, and/or client-facing businesses, as well as experience interacting with internal organizational leadership.
Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in business analytics, statistics, economics, or a related field.
Seasoned self-starter who is eager to apply business learnings across a portfolio of clients and drive insights.
Ability to develop and own stakeholder relationships.
Ability to work collaboratively in a consultative role.
Significant experience communicating complex ideas to non-technical audiences.
Experience using Excel, SQL, R, Python, and/or Tableau for data analysis.
Can share examples of using data to solve complex problems.
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and adding value.
