As the Vice President of Data, AI & Analytics in our IT organization, you are pivotal in shaping and executing our data strategy, ensuring that data architecture aligns with business goals and operational efficiencies. Your expertise in data governance, management, and analytics enables you to lead the design and implementation of scalable data solutions that drive business insights. As part of the senior leadership team, you will foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and innovation, leveraging your strong leadership capabilities to enhance data operations across the organization.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

Lead a cross-functional team of data architects, analysts, and engineers to design and implement data strategies aligned to business objectivesInspire and partner with global teams to evaluate technology trends, build business cases, and drive strategic roadmapsChampion a vision for a data-driven organization that leverages emerging technologies such as cloud, AI, and advanced analyticsDevelop and manage a comprehensive enterprise data architecture program that ensures integration and communication across systemsIdentify opportunities in emerging data technologies to enhance analytics capabilities and foster innovationPromote best practices in data governance, balancing business needs with privacy, compliance, and riskRepresent OpenText in data-related initiatives and establish a presence as a thought leader in the data spaceCollaborate with senior business leaders to advise on data-driven strategies that improve customer experience and outcomesLead data integration due diligence during mergers and acquisitions, identifying risks and opportunitiesDefine and track KPIs to measure performance and drive continuous improvement in data operations

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or a related field; Master’s preferred15+ years of experience in data management, architecture, and operations within IT10+ years leading strategic data initiatives and complex enterprise-scale projectsProven experience in data modeling, database design, and data warehousingDeep knowledge of analytics tools, BI platforms, and reporting solutionsStrong understanding of business principles, data governance frameworks, and compliance standardsAnalytical thinker with exceptional problem-solving skills and a data-first mindsetEffective communicator with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
