**POSITION SUMMARY:**
VP Finance position exists to manage the company wide Finance, Risk management and Legal functions for both Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein brands.
This position is responsible for the above-mentioned processes as well as to support the company level projects and the strategic planning processes/sales operation planning processes by working closely with Asia CFO & Senior leaders in Regional Finance as well as President and Senior leaders in Japan management team.
Key priorities of this role are to be:
(1) an effective business partner to the business such as President, each Head of function in Japan to contribute to achieve the sustainable growth and deliver the financial results, and
(2) a gate keeper to ensure all activities taken place in PVH Japan are in compliance with the PVH guidelines as well as external laws and regulations.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:**
+ Manage the entire finance functions including FP&A/Commercial, General Accounting, Retail Accounting and Tax/Treasury teams as well as risk management/legal functions and processes in PVH Japan
+ Lead and facilitate the finance area in the strategic planning and the sales operation planning processes, which include 3 year plan/Budget and Quarterly/Monthly/Weekly operating plan
+ Work closely with President in Japan and Head of functions as a business partner to develop the strategy and support to execute the action plans
+ Support the company-wide projects, mainly focusing on the X-functional and X-border projects such as the system development, the strategic initiatives for future business growth
+ Manage the relationship with the external parties such as banks, leasing companies, audit firm, lawyers, business/system consultants, etc.
+ Work closely with the Regional Finance, Risk management and Legal teams
**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:**
Direct: Senior Director FP&A, Director Corporate Finance, Risk manager
The entire team members are approximately 19 individuals to manage.

+ Closely and timely communicate to Regional team for the critical matters

+ Work as a team by demonstrating sound leadership
+ Establish the solid relationship with key stakeholders in other functions and regional teams

+ Demonstrate high performance in situation with high pressure
+ Communicate effectively and maintain healthy relationship with all internal / external stakeholders and partners
+ Maximize the team’s output by properly managing and coaching the team members.
+ Fairly evaluate the team members and offer feedback / coaching in accordance with the company’s guidance
+ Execute multiple tasks simultaneously in calm and organized manner
**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:**
+ 15-20 years or more working experience in Finance function at Multinational Company (experience in the retail/apparel industry desirable)
+ Written and oral English that must be practical to communicate with overseas counterparts (TOEIC 900 or more) and good presentation skill in English
+ In depth knowledge of USGAAP (IFRS) and JGAAP as well as Tax law in Japan
+ CPA and/or MBA desirable
+ Experience/Knowledge of SAP advantage
