An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional to join our bank as Vice President of Derivatives Operations within the Global Markets Operations team. This pivotal role is based in Hong Kong and offers you the chance to play a key part in shaping the operational landscape of treasury market settlements, supporting new product launches, and driving continuous improvement across processes. As Vice President, you will be empowered to motivate and develop your team, work closely with internal stakeholders, and ensure the highest standards of regulatory compliance are met. What you'll do:
+ To support Team Lead to supervise all routine work and products offered related to treasury market settlement operations including new product/system launch/enhancement
+ To assist Team Lead and constantly review operational procedures for further enhancement of operational efficiency and productivity
+ To motivate and coach staff for skills and knowledge to deal with business growth as well as to mitigate the takeover risk and adopt markets best practice
+ To work closely with internal stakeholder (e.g. compliance, risk etc.) to implement proper operational procedures in regulatory and compliance (e.g. AML, DFA and HKMA-RMS etc.)
+ To perform other job duties such as ad-hoc reports or projects, etc. as assigned by Department Head/Team Lead from time to time.
+ To ensure strict adherence to Service Legal Agreements in BAU.
What you bring:
+ University education or above
+ Minimum of 8-years experience in treasury with not less than 3 years at supervisor level
+ Sound knowledge in areas of treasury products
+ Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements on the relevant areas and internal operational policies and procedures
+ Good communication and interpersonal skills
+ Good leadership and people management skills
+ Computer literacy with good excel skills
+ Proficiency in Cantonese and English
