We are currently seeking an ambitious professional to join our Institutional Client Group team as a VP who will act as a Global Relationship Banker with responsibilities to manage both global and regional clients and to develop and grow profitable long-term relationships with allocated clients within the Institutional Clients Group (ICG) - in MENAT.
In this role, you will:
•Work closely with a diverse range of client segments, including Investors (Hedge funds, private equity firms, and financial sponsors) as well as FinTech’s to grow and develop both existing and new relationship across the regions
•Originate and execute business across the spectrum of CIB’s products, which includes Global Markets, Global Trade Solutions, Global Payments Solutions, Securities Services. Etc
•Build the HSBC Corporate and Institutional Banking franchise value/reputation in the market place.
•Be the Global Relationship Banker / Regional Relationship Banker to drive achievement against targets for revenue generation, product alignment, customer satisfaction and cost containment.
•Develop an understanding in client relationship management with strong risk assessment and management capabilities ensuring the required credit quality requisite returns on risk
•Support the growth in HSBC’s share of client wallet involving product specialists to ensure product capabilities are in line with client/sector requirements.
•Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the jobholder is involved.
•Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
•Undertake all required activities as directed by line manager or as agreed in annual objectives in support of the furtherment of the Global Banking business.
•establish a holistic understanding of clients needs and deliver innovative high value solutions across all product lines, gaining significant business and sustainable returns for the Group.
