Vice President, Technical Lead (Domestic Payments)

Join MUFG, where being inspired is expected and making a meaningful impact is rewarded. **Job Responsibilities:** Technical Expertise: + Provide subject matter experience in system analysis and design. + Ability to lead the technical design of the solution based on the system criticality of the payments domain for resiliency and stable operations to meet the business SLA’s expected. + Develop technical specification document based on functional requirement. Project Support: + Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Developers/Testers to ensure technical requirement are met. + Support the preparation and execution of test plans, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). + Manage the outstanding defects/change requests, prioritize with Project Managers and Business Analysts and plan for the fix or implementation. Documentation: + Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation. + Ensure all technical documents are up-to-date and accurately reflect the system design and functionality. Operation Transition: + Assist in the transition of system from development to production status. + Provide support for operation promotion tasks, ensuring smooth handover to Production Support team. Quality Assurance: + Participate in quality reviews and contribute to the achievement of quality objectives. + Ensure that all deliverables comply with MUFG IT standards and governance. Maintenance + Regularly monitor system performance, system usage, and resource consumption and take preventive measures before issues arise. + Apply security patches for vulnerabilities and updates to keep system up-to-date. + Manage EOL/EOS for Hardware and Software. + Propose improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency. + Consider the introduction of new technologies and tools, and plan system upgrade. Incident Support + Liaise with the relevant teams including vendors to investigate reported issues/problem, identify root cause/impact, implement workaround and fixes to resolve issue. + Get into the technical investigation at the application level for trouble-shooting and resolution. **Job Requirements:** + Minimum 12 Years of technical experience with specialization on Payments implementations, with experience in methodologies and frameworks for System analysis in the banking industry. + Experience in Payment & Settlement systems with experience in Asia Pacific payment systems (online, real-time payment, RTGS and other domestic payments) + Experience with IBM FTM Payments product. + Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field + Experience with TCS Bancs Payments product preferred + Knowledge in Java/J2EE platform, Oracle DB, SQL, Unix/Linux, IBM WAS, DB2, MQ and IIB would be an advantage + Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills + Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) and exposure to Agile methodology + Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams or offshore team + Strong communication skill to liaise with stakeholders, team members, and products vendors + Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills + Self-motivated and possess drive, and ability to work independently and a good team player Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is an equal opportunity employer.
