Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC seeks a Vice President, Strats in New York, New York

Acquire and curate datasets from internal and external data providers. Leverage new technology to extend product offerings. Create quantitative solutions including data visualization tools, analytical applications, and research platforms. Collaborate with trading desks on developing decision-making systems. Utilize domain knowledge to streamline data pipelines. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

Salary:

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $215,000 and $250,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

Requirements:

Requires a Master’s in Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the position offered or three (3) years as Analyst, Associate or a related role. Requires Three (3) years of experience with: Python; Kdb/q; SQL; Java; Bash; R; web development; financial modeling; statistical inference; data visualization; machine learning algorithms; portfolio trading; index rebalance.
