Vice President, Social Media Intelligence

We are looking for a social analytics expert who is fluent in monitoring, measuring, analyzing, and interpreting social data across paid, owned, earned, and shared media. We hope you’re a numbers whiz and know how to bring data to life through a compelling story. You should already be used to representing your team to external clients, since VPs are often the face of our brand. **Responsibilities** Vice Presidents will work very closely with their team to help them stay on track with the day-to-day deliverables of their respective account. They also contribute crucial intellectual capital to their teams by coaching and mentoring their teams to deliver social intelligence based on clients’ business needs and using social data to tell great stories. A VP will also formulate a vision for their accounts and proliferate that vision throughout their team. As such, a VP is a mentor, manager, project manager, and thought leader, all at the same time. This position reports into the Senior Vice President. **Qualifications** + B.A. or B.S., preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Marketing/Advertising or related field highly preferred + 10+ years of experience working in social media intelligence (listening) and analytics roles, preferably within a Fortune 500 brand, either in an agency or client setting. Agency experience highly preferred + 5+ years in a managerial and client facing role + Strong analytical thinker with an abundance of intellectual curiosity + Experience growing and cultivating Analytics talent, managing and coordinating efforts across various teams / offices + Expertise with social listening platforms (e.g., Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Talkwalker, Sprout, Quid Monitor) and experience creating dashboards within these platforms. + Expertise in paid social media and creator / influencer measurement, reporting, and analytics including metrics, KPIs, measurement frameworks, measurement methodologies, and reporting deliverables + Deep understanding of social media platforms, their functionalities, and best practices. Ability to stay abreast of social media algorithms, platform updates, and emerging trends to ensure the effectiveness of social media strategies. + Experience and understanding of the broader social media space. Industry leading expert around latest advancements in social listening and measurement tools, techniques, and industry trends + Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into insightful, non-technical narratives. Comfort in balancing statistical data with qualitative insights to build credible narratives + World-class customer service skills. Ability to service clients, partners and internal stakeholders by understanding their needs, translating those needs into creative solutions, and delivering on those solutions with diligence and a sense of urgency + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present data, insights, and complex ideas to external and internal clients. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple projects under concurrent deadlines. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
