Join us at razorfish.com. **Overview** As Vice President Social Strategy at Razorfish, you will be joining our 80+ person social practice within our fast-growing Consumer & Content Experience discipline. In this role, you will lead the organic social strategy for a major retail brand at the intersection of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle—working to create breakthrough content, build authentic communities, and help the brand show up with style, purpose, and cultural credibility. **Responsibilities** + **Leading Social Strategy Development** : Spearhead the strategic planning process, leveraging data-driven insights to craft content strategies, build engaged audiences, and amplify the client’s reach across social platforms. + **Retail + Culture Expertise** : Stay ahead of industry and social trends, whether it's a new drop, aesthetic shift, GRWM format, or platform algorithm update, and help apply them to the brand's ongoing content and community approach. + **Driving Thought Leadership** : Serve as a thought leader on content development, platform optimization, audience engagement practices, measurement frameworks, and streamlined social processes, helping elevate both client and internal team capabilities. + **Social Governance & Policies** : Lead the development of voice, tone, and response protocols. Help navigate high-stakes moments with agility and maintain consistency across all consumer-facing interactions. + **Building Partnerships** : Develop and nurture relationships with third-party content providers, creators, and platform representatives to explore new collaboration opportunities and secure access to first-mover platform features. + **Client Engagement:** Act as a trusted advisor to clients, presenting actionable strategies and collaborating on specific brand initiatives to align social efforts with broader marketing and business objectives. **What Makes a Successful Candidate:** + You are fluent in internet culture, social storytelling, and content that moves people. You’ve worked with fashion, beauty, or retail brands and understand how to keep them culturally relevant, creatively expressive, and strategically consistent. + You know how to build strong communities and how to transform scroll-stopping content into long-term brand love. You think in campaigns, series, and always-on moments, and you understand how to scale creation and engagement at the speed of culture. + You’re a creative strategist and an operational leader. You know how to get big ideas made and how to keep multiple stakeholders aligned while you do it. **Qualifications** + 12+ years of experience in social marketing, with a strong focus on fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or retail + Proven success leading social content and engagement strategy for a major brand or across multiple accounts + Deep understanding of social media platforms, content formats, creator partnerships, and engagement tactics + Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and building inclusive, collaborative environments + Strong grasp of measurement, data storytelling, and performance optimization + Comfortable presenting to C-level clients and building trust at all levels of an organization + A pulse on culture, creativity, and what’s next on social **Additional information** The Power of One starts with our people! This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
