MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
This role is ideal for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career, into a primary coverage role with full exposure to Investment Banking activities within a growing platform in an international environment. This is a high visibility role that will see you build and manage relationships with the private side businesses the advisory team supports. You will have direct exposure to all levels of the business and will be the primary contact for Corporate & Investment Banking, Derivatives Solutions Group and the Structured Solutions businesses.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will be acting across MUFG’s banking arm and securities business under a dual-hat arrangement. Under this arrangement you will make decisions on behalf of both the bank and the securities business, subject to the same remit and level of authority, irrespective of the entity which employs you.
Job responsibilities:
To provide advisory coverage across the private side businesses, with a specific focus on Corporate & Investment Banking.
Provide advice, guidance and challenge to the private side businessesParticipate and support local and global projects and drive the operational implementation of key regulatory change initiativesDraft and update policies and procedures as necessaryProvide face to face training to the front office on regulatory and conduct mattersParticipate in the conduct of internal and external enquiries and investigations as necessaryWORK EXPERIENCE
