Vice President, Placement

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Placement team at Marsh Singapore. This role will be based in Singapore. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

You will be responsible for managing and placing large, complex P&C accounts for corporate clients across various industries. The role requires deep expertise in P&C insurance, exceptional negotiation skills, and a client-centric approach to deliver tailored insurance solutions that mitigate risk and drive value.

We will count on you to:

Serve as the primary point of contact for large and complex P&C accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders.Collaborate with clients and Marsh advisory teams to analyse risk exposures, assess insurance needs, and develop customised P&C solutions.Design and execute placement strategies for complex risks, leveraging Marsh’s global network and market relationships to secure optimal coverage terms and pricing.Engage with insurance carriers to negotiate competitive terms, conditions, and pricing, ensuring alignment with client objectives and Marsh standards.Develop innovative and cost-effective insurance programmes tailored to the unique needs of clients in industries such as manufacturing, construction, energy, or financial services.Stay abreast of P&C market trends, emerging risks, and regulatory changes to provide proactive advice to clients and internal teams.Prepare and review placement submissions, proposals, and policy documents to ensure accuracy, compliance, and clarity.Work closely with client executives, risk managers, and Marsh’s advisory, claims, and analytics teams to deliver seamless service and integrated solutions.Ensure all placement activities adhere to local regulations, Marsh’s internal policies, and industry best practices.

What you need to have:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field. Professional qualifications such as CPCU, ARM, or ACI preferred.Minimum 5 years of experience in P&C insurance, with at least 3 years in a placement or broking role handling large and complex accounts.In-depth knowledge of P&C insurance products, including property, casualty, D&O, cyber, and specialty lines.Established relationships with insurers and reinsurers in the Singapore and Asia-Pacific markets.
