We are seeking a Vice President, People, to lead our People strategy across the LATAM region. This is a critical role for a people-centered, culturally attuned, and strategic HR leader who understands how regional dynamics, from political climates to labor regulations and cultural values all which have direct impact in people practices and employee experiences. What you’ll do: Bring Edelman’s global People strategy to life for the LATAM region, ensuring a unified yet locally relevant employee experience Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to regional and global leadership across HR functions, ensuring, for example, that network-wide change initiatives are led and implemented in LATAM in a way that is sympathetic to regional and local differences. Partner with global Centers of Excellence (COEs); including Talent Acquisition, DEI, L&D, Total Rewards, Talent Management, and Shared Services; to deploy initiatives that meet business and talent needs Anticipate and assess regional organizational needs; lead workforce planning, performance management, succession planning, and change management initiatives Analyze internal trends and workforce data to inform recommendations, increase efficiency, and measure program success Review and interpret compensation data in partnership with Total Rewards to ensure equity and competitiveness Support business expansion efforts across the region including due diligence, change management, and post-merger integration Promote and engage with internal culture-building activities and regional events to foster connection and belonging Champion Edelman’s inclusive practices across all People processes; bring a regional lens to DEIB goals and help drive inclusive hiring, development, and engagement Who you are: An experienced HR leader with 10+ years with extense experience in Latin America (e.g., Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia), including in matrixed and dynamic business environments A collaborator who understands regional political and cultural nuance and how it impacts people programs Fluent in Spanish and English; working knowledge of Portuguese is a strong asset Experienced in navigating regional employment law and managing complex employee relations across jurisdictions A strong communicator and facilitator who can lead trainings and speak confidently with diverse audiences Comfortable interpreting data to tell a story and influence decision-making Technologically adept, with fluency in HRIS platforms and cloud-based engagement/performance tools Background in communications, marketing, or professional services is preferred What makes you successful in this role: You see around corners; anticipating issues and surfacing inclusive, people-first solutions You thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment and know how to prioritize and pivot You’re a values-driven leader who inspires others and builds trust through authenticity and results #LI-LV2
