**Job Description:**
This role is critical to support the Hong Kong FICC FX LCT trading desk to ensure all trades are timely and correctly captured for desk. The role is responsible for also resolving all operational queries. This includes trade reconciliations, coordination with trading, Sales, Ops and Finance teams. Filling this role is essential for maintain BAU for the trading desk.
**Responsibilities:**
Trading Assistants (TA) give direct support to the Front Office. This support broadly encompasses activities involving:
+ Trade capture
+ Funding
+ Amendment
+ Sales workflow
+ Auctions
+ Ad-hoc miscellaneous business support such as NPR's / NST, MIS, data gathering, acting as a tech liaison, projects and change management.
+ Ensure all trades are timely and correctly captured for the trading desk (bonds, futures, FX, OTC derivatives, etc.)
+ Resolve all associated operational queries. This includes trade reconciliations, coordination with trading, Sales, Ops and Finance teams
+ Timely response to internal client queries regarding trades bookings
+ Liaising with other internal departments to ensure timely resolution to feeding and other risk issues
+ Involvement in ad hoc projects for new processes or initiatives
+ Real time coordination and interaction exists between Trader and Trade Assistant through the trade capture, risk validation, other portfolio activity. It is the TA responsibility to ensure applicable TO completeness and accuracy controls are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
+ The Trader/ TA engagements continue through the trade lifecycle with Control Partners. The TA will be responsible as a first point of contact for queries related to Trade bookings, PnL/Risk exceptions, or any ad-hoc requirements of the other teams
**Requirements:**
We are seeking a dynamic candidate who is quantitative, analytical, proactive, a team player, able to work under pressure and to tight time constraints and has excellent attention to detail. This position requires daily liaison with many different groups across the organization and so, candidates must have a high level of communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate must have good knowledge on Rates derivatives products and demonstrate maturity, sense of urgency and have a good understanding in the derivatives sales and trading flows.
