Join us at razorfish.com. **Overview** As a VP, Group Design Director you work cross functionally leading a team of designers from setting the design direction and project conceptualization to completion. You often oversee several projects at a time ensuring all projects meet the highest level of craft and professionalism. You often lead the design requirements of new business pitches. You live and breathe all things design within the office and provide leadership, train and mentor Design Leads. + Leads design team to ensure high- quality work. + Fosters a collaborative, agile and innovative environment. + Provides career path direction. + Mentors team with regular performance feedback. + Champions the design craft within P3 / Razorfish. + Actively shapes and participates in company culture. **Responsibilities** + Oversees and directs the creation and implementation of all aspects of design. + Client-facing representative for design-related presentations. + Develops design briefs and directional documentation. + Prepares for, and leads, workshops/ brainstorming sessions. + QA designs for consistency, accuracy and functionality. + Develops tools to improve internal processes. + Ensures deadlines, timetables and approval procedures are adhered to. + Actively participates in new business development. **Qualifications** + 15-years of experience in a design related role + Exceptional portfolio that includes strong design systems thinking. + Highly skilled and proficient at service and e-commerce design. + Fluent in strategic planning, budgeting and design execution. + Expert knowledge of all steps required in the creative development process. + Inspired passion for, and understanding of, new and emerging technologies. + Working knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma and presentation like Google slides etc. **Additional information** The Power of One starts with our people! This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
