Vice President, Global Human Resources, Nobel Biocare Systems


Job Description:

The Vice President, Global Human Resources, Nobel Biocare Systems is responsible for providing a full continuum of HR leadership to create a world class organization and talent capabilities in support of our business strategy. This role will focus on providing strategic HR leadership and business partnership to the Operating Company President and Senior leadership team. The HR VP will guide the human capital strategy and growth of our talented team who develops, manufactures, markets and sells our Nobel Biocare products. The successful candidate will enjoy all aspects of HR including both strategic and tactical. This includes partnering with key leaders across the enterprise aligned with strategic imperatives, hiring, on-boarding, talent management, talent development, performance management and employee relations. This position reports directly to the President, Nobel Biocare.  

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Lead the development and implementation of strategic HR priorities in line with and supporting the achievement of the annual business objectives for the business 

Leads the Human Resources function for Nobel Biocare Systems (~1,750 HC, ~20 HR HC) 

Workforce planning and leading initiatives that align the local organization to global business strategy and priorities 

Lead cross functional strategic change projects to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency 

Champion and execute on talent acquisition, development, and diversity & inclusion strategies 

Provide coaching support for leaders and managers and their leadership teams where needed 

Be responsible for key talent management and development including partnering with the organization’s leaders regarding team development and personal/professional development of employees 

Partner with HRLT across Envista to implement HR actions to meet short and long-term organization talent strategy target. 

Develop and drive performance management processes, tools, communications, and training programs 

Provide leadership in the development of a sustainable high performance/high engagement workforce 

Ensure compliance with employment-related laws (EEOC, OSHA, Wage and Hour, etc.). Represent the company on related litigation. 

Job Requirements:

Education/Experience 

 

Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in business or related field is preferred. 

10+ years of progressive HR experience with a global organization in a leadership and generalist HR role required. 

7+ years of leading a global HR function through significant organizational transformation.  

Knowledge of global laws governing employment required. Prior experience in organizational design, succession planning and talent management highly desired. 

Prior experience in organizations committed to the principles of lean and continuous improvement culture. 

 

Key Abilities: Demonstrated results in implementing and driving results in a lean/continuous improvement culture. Proven track record building, leading, motivating and developing teams, specifically during a period of organizational transformation to include: 

Grow and develop organization through recruiting, selection, training, compensation and motivation of a global team. 

Guide and mentor leaders to assist in their personal and professional development. 

Acquisition integration, due diligence, and portfolio management activities in a leadership capacity.

Ability to quickly pivot and be flexible based on the ongoing changes of the business and market to provide leadership towards defined results and outcomes 

Operate with high ethics and integrity according to the Envista Standards of Conduct at all times  

Travel Requirements Domestic and international travel is required for this role = 30%+ primarily between North America and Europe business locations.
