Morgan Stanley Private Bank, N.A. seeks a Vice President, Financial Crimes Risk Management in Baltimore, MD
Establish in-business control programs and overseeing the execution and health of the Financial Crime program across all business lines. Leading special strategic initiatives, processes and tasks supporting the Firm's Enhanced Due Diligence program. Pipeline management and engagement with Digital Business, Virtual Client Solutions, Financial Advisors, Complex Management and Risk Officers to run the periodic review process. Develop controls to ensure the periodic review process operates smoothly. Identify, measure, control and remediate money laundering, sanctions, and reputational risk. Oversee the identification and assessment of Morgan Stanley’s key Financial Crimes risks. Ensure risks are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled. Monitor and measure compliance risk through a robust control framework. Ensure process reviews are conducted consistently across Firm entities on a regular basis.
Salary:
Salary range for the position: $134,000 - $145,000 /Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component. Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor’s in Law, Banking and Financial Law, Business, Finance, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as an Assistant Vice President, Associate, Consultant, or a related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience with: banking industry and AML KYC rules, regulations, policies, and processes; sanction regimes; KYC requirements for businesses operating with a clientele or beneficial owners within a sanctioned jurisdiction; running an enhanced due diligence (EDD) program for customers within a sanctioned jurisdiction; implementing a KYC program derived from recent acquisition of a digital segment client platform; working within the LATAM legal and regulatory landscape; addressing customers in high-risk jurisdictions; assessing jurisdiction-specific requirements to incorporate legal business entities; and identifying country-specific regulators and assessing how it shapes the customer's risk-rank.
