Edelman is seeking a Vice President to join our Corporate Health team with a focus on Executive Visibility. This role will help shape the external presence of top executives across industries—crafting smart, engaging, and relevant strategies that break through traditional narratives and elevate leadership voices.You will partner with clients to drive thought leadership and visibility across media, speaking engagements, awards, and digital channels. If you're a strong storyteller, a confident client counselor, and an expert in building executive presence in the space earned, this is the role for you.
About You: You’re a sharp communicator and natural relationship builder who knows how to elevate an executive voice with purpose and precision. You can switch from high-level positioning strategy to writing a smart headline in a flash—and you care about helping clients lead with impact and clarity. You stay current on leadership trends, cultural conversations, and business relevance and understand how executive visibility ladders into corporate reputation and brand trust. You love shaping stories and building programs that create meaningful attention and thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environmentsResponsibilities: Lead and support executive visibility programs, including media outreach, speaking engagement strategy, and award submissionsDevelop and refine executive content including LinkedIn posts, op-eds, talking points, and thought leadership materialsHelp clients tell complex stories in clear, compelling, and accessible waysCoach and prepare leaders for public speaking, media interviews, and panel appearancesEarned Media & Thought Leadership SupportCollaborate with media teams to pitch executives for profiles, commentary, and event opportunitiesIdentify relevant awards, conferences, and platforms to amplify leadership perspectivesManage and enhance executives' owned channels (e.g., LinkedIn profiles)Client ManagementServe as day-to-day lead on assigned accounts, overseeing execution and strategic counselBuild and maintain trust with clients by providing proactive recommendations and consistent deliveryTranslate client goals into integrated visibility plans aligned with communications and business objectivesTeam & Cross-Functional CollaborationManage and mentor junior team members with real-time feedback and clear expectationsCollaborate with creative, digital, strategy, and media teams across the networkContribute to internal knowledge sharing around executive visibility best practicesNew Business & Network ContributionSupport RFPs, new business pitches, and organic growth opportunitiesHelp craft positioning and messaging strategy in proposals and client decksParticipate in relevant industry and Edelman-wide knowledge forums to stay ahead of visibility trendsBasic Qualifications: 7–9 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or executive visibility (agency experience preferred)Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related fieldPreferred Qualifications: Strong writing and editing skills, especially for senior leader content and press materialsDemonstrated success placing executives in earned media, awards, and high-profile engagementsExperience providing direct client counsel and managing integrated program executionConfident presentation and pitching skills; comfort leading both internal and external meetingsHealthcare/Pharma experience a plus $95,000 - $165,000 a year#LI-KEB1
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
